CARRAGHER PRAISES TEENAGER FOR UCL MASTERCLASS

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was delighted with teenager Tyler Morton after he produced a midfield masterclass during Champions League clash between Italian Serie A giants AC Milan and the Reds at the San Siro on Tuesday night.

Jamie Carragher could not hide his excitement as he was impressed with the young Liverpool midfielder who produced an excellent performance to propel a depleted Reds team to a 2-1 away win over the Rossoneri. According to Jamie Carragher via his official Twitter handle, Liverpool midfielder Morton pulled the strings in midfield as he helped the Reds turn the game on its head to ensure that the club maintained their perfect group stage record until the end.

Serie A leaders Milan came into their Champions League home clash with Liverpool needing a win to progress into the round of 16 as far as Europe's premier club competition is concerned. Merseyside giants Liverpool are the runaway leaders in Group B of this season's Champions League, but the other teams namely Atletico Madrid, AC Milan and FC Porto could still qualify for the first knockout stage ahead of the final set of games in the group.

Chelsea Academy graduate FikayoTomori sealed a permanent transfer from the Blues to Milan this summer after an impressive loan spell with the Italians during the second half of last season and he was responsible for the first goal of the game. Liverpool them responded through leading goalscorer Mohamed Salah nine minutes later.
