Philips has been phenomenal for Liverpool this season in the absence of first choice centre backs like Dutchman Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip. Philips drew the praise of Jamie Carragher for his form for Liverpool while he was running commentary for Sky Sports during the league game of the season between hosts Burnley and Liverpool.

According to ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher, Philips can head a double-decker truck away as he referenced his impressive heading ability during the Burnley game last week Wednesday. Philips produced a man-of-the-match performance as Liverpool ran out 3-0 winners netting one of the goals in the process.
